Today, I’ll share some articles I’ve read recently. They all helped me in some way. I hope someone may find this useful. These are some bloggers I have followed for quite some time. There are wise words and I think I need to write them down.

Brad Frost wrote a piece Back at it about taking a break. I wish I could have the privilege to enjoy a long break too. I also agree that sometimes I want to do a lot of things but end up doing nothing. Well, I need to learn just be chill about it and enjoy the moment.

My eyes are always larger than my stomach, and I suspect the same is true for you. There’s truly no way to do it all, and I’ve learned to embrace my limitations and be grateful for what I did accomplish.

Jim Nielsen shared something about Good Design. “Good for who?”, a good question. Take that “Unsubscribe” button as an example. I’d argue a design that exists on the web must be designed for people other than yourself. Even if it’s a personal blog that’s no one visits, no matter the intent or purpose, the design has to be taken into consideration. Just like web accessibility. So, the unsubscribe button is bad design. If one disagrees, then the button shouldn’t be existed in the first place.

Principles for life written by Dries Buytaert. I don’t think anyone needs to be told how to live their lives. But this is very good advice.

Take Care of Your Blog by Robin Rendle. After reading it, I want to write more. But I don’t think my blog can push my career, not in the slightest way.

I have known of CSS Tricks since 2008. But Chris Coyier’s blog is so much more fun to read. Sometimes he shares his personal stuff and some tips and tricks on web development.

I find that the most interesting blog to read is things that are personal. It feels more real and authentic. I love to read stories about the person, even if we’ll never meet. So, that’s it. Thanks for reading.
